Version: PC Tools Firewall Plus Free Edition 4
Pros: Easy configuration. if you want, popus tell EXACTLY who, where, what. VERY fast performance. I try too many firewalls and keep this.
Cons: Nothing for now.

Version: PC Tools Firewall Plus Free Edition 4
Pros: Clean face and easy to get around.
Cons: I tried this for awhile and when I was done, I tried to uninstall it, I couldn't do it. It even lock my AVG 8.0 and I couldn't uninstall it from the Control Panel.Their own uninstall programs that come with each program wouldn't do the job.
Summary: This firewall is full of hot air.
Please someone help me out on this issue. read more

Pros: from the makers of the multi-award winning spyware doctor, so this should be good

"Light weight, Clean Interface and Stable with Vista"
Pros: Pass Matousec Firewall Challenge with Flying Colors
Cons: None but perhaps a slight improvement on Keylogging test.
Summary: For a freeware personal firewall, this is an excellent choice over Comodo which is good but in my view rather heavy for a basic use. PC Tools Firewall Plus Free Edition offers the novice user a cluster free and simple to understand GUI.Behind this si... read more
