From Opera Software:Opera 9 includes support for BitTorrent™, the popular file distribution technology & innovative widgets – small, useful & handy Web programs. Opera ensures online efficiency, either by tabbed browsing, saved sessions, trash can, notes or allowing you to add your favorite search engines to the search bar as well as start exactly where you last finished browsing. Opera introduced security bar to prevent phishing and strengthened pop-up blocker. Version 9.02 enhances user interface, fixes quick find field in panel, and adds mail, messaging, and newsfeeds.

- "Speedy and safe"
The premise of Opera has always been the same--develop the fastest, smallest, and most full-featured browser available--and the latest version maintains the tradition. Opera has all the basics covered, including tabbed browsing with an added functionality that lets you hover over a tab to preview a page; a search bar with Google and several other popular portals; advanced bookmarking tools, including one that lets you easily import from any popular browser; and simple integration with your favorite e-mail and chat clients. Mouse-gesture support, keyboard shortcuts, and drag-and-drop functionality further enhance your surfing experience.
With solid basics, Opera's extra features push it to the top of the class. Integrated theme support lets you preview and download themes from within the interface so you know what you're getting before you download. Widgets (akin to Mac OS X dashboard applications) are small, useful programs that appear in a window from any app while Opera is running. The Wand utility helps you autofill online forms and lets you securely save passwords for multiple sites. We really like the addition of BitTorrent support, letting you drop a Torrent link into the address bar and begin a file transfer immediately without the need for an extra app. Overall, we think Opera might have what it takes to unseat even the biggest-name browsers if users give it the opportunity. Opera is a must-download for those looking for a full-featured browser with added extras.

Version: Opera 9.02
"One of the fastest web browsers out there"
Pros: Opera remains one of the fastest web browsers out there and has a lot of nice features that make it a top notch competitor for both IE and FireFox.The easily skinable interface and a variety of skins available make Opera pleasant to work with and now that the last couple of version updates have done away with the add windows, it has really become a truly great alternative for those who like to have as little to do with Microsoft as possible...
Cons: Opera still has trouble with some websites and can even hang on some. This can be annoying and requires one to remember which sites to stear away from.
There are some security questions floating around about Opera but who knows who started the rumors. If you have the appropriate security software and take care bussiness updating it, security shouldn't be a problem anyway!

Version: Opera 9.02
"Simply the best browser available"
Pros: Opera is seriously under appreciated. There are so many people who have not even heard of it, it's sad; and it's even more of a shame that people believe Firefox is actually better than it. I'm not saying Firefox is bad - it surely is a great browser (and beats the hell out of IE) - but Opera is so much better.
Opera provides tons of features that other browsers do not - like even the very simple "Paste and go" command in the address bar. Also, using the middle mouse button (clicking the scroll-wheel) on a hyperlink will open the page in a tab 'behind' the current window - I can't say how much I find this feature useful: you could also do this, of course, by right clicking and choosing "Open in background tab".
But enough with the little features, this browser is simply the best. Its standards support is unparalleled - try the acid test and see for yourself!
If you don't want to take my word for it, check the Opera Wiki . The "WhyOpera" page is a very good place to start.
Cons: The only con I find about Opera is the compatibility it has with certain sites (like advanced Web 2.0 sites such as Windows Live Mail and Writely). Unfortunately, and this isn't Opera's fault, these sort of pages just refuse to load (or load in a basic version) because the browser doesn't support them. You'll find mostly the same with Firefox, but it will be nice when websites stop catering only for the IE users.

Version: Opera 9.02
Pros: I have to agree with most of the user reviews on Opera! It's smokin'! Furthermore, unlike some of the negative about it not having enough customazations and/or add-ons - I simply disagree! I have used opera for a short time now, and this browser is looking exactly like I want it to - that comes from a very dedicated fan of Firefox. The speed in which it opens pages is unreal - in an instant you will have the page displayed on your screen, and for those of you out there who like things in the fast lane, Opera has I.E. and Firefox beat in the speed category. It seems to be stable unlike some of the user reviews I read.
The widgets are a nice twist in web browsers because you can make them do exactly what you want them to do! The side bar for the bookmarks and all the other stuff that is in the thing is awsome too!
For those of you who have vision problems, Opera can be customized in a way that is a little easier on the eyes - which I despretly needed and find as a nice feature too! DOWNLOAD IT AND GIVE IT A TRY - I THINK YOU WILL LIKE IT!
Cons: The major flaw I see in Opera isn't Opera's fault at all - the fault lies with Mcafee!
Being a hugh fan of Mcafee's Site Advisor, I was let down to know that Mcafee doesn't support Opera yet! Security is a high priority in my book, and that security starts in what places you visit on the web.
I am finding myself fliping back to Firefox for the benefit of Site Advisor, but for all the other pluses that I find in Opera, it is worth it. You will learn that alot of sites as of yet don't support Opera, which I reccomend fliping back to Firefox for those pages, as I.E. is a dying breed and needs no more fan fare.
For the most part however, Opera is soundly put together and without any major flaws!

Version: Opera 9.02
Pros: In my opinion opera is the best browers beating IE and firefox, its quicker at loading up pages and keeps all your different pages on tabs at the top of the page instead of on your tool bar.
Its also very good at blocking unwanted pop ups.
Its got loads of different features my best being the one letting you download torrents, just click on a torrent you want to download and it will open up and start to download on a different page.
I didnt think firefox could be beat as the best brower but after trying opera i now think its the best and should be crowned the king of the browers
