From DigitByte Studio:Open Video Converter is an easy-to-use tool for video conversion, splitting, and editing. It converts video formats such as MPEG, AVI, ASF, and WMV to AVI. The application changes the frame size, frame rate, video-compression codec, and audio-compression codec. The key features include converting MPEG, WMV, ASF, MPG, VCD, OGM, DAT, and SVCD files to AVI; encoding AVI with DivX and XviD; splitting a video file into smaller pieces; changing the frame size, and adjusting the video-aspect ratio; changing the clip file size by choosing the encoding bit rate; and changing the video and audio compression codec for AVI files. There also is an open-compression system for video and audio.
Version 3.0.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Cons: You only get 1 minute on a free trial, I wouldn't even bother, I've got loads of films to compressed and I thought I give a try of this program, I would of thought it would be a 30 day trial or something, but no, If it was and I liked it, I would of baught it, just not worth it.

Cons: this progam destroyed my audio codecs and now there is no sound on my computer and worse of all the video i was trying to convert got deleted by the program.
save your time and dont DL this program ever.

"Great product and very easy to use."
Pros: Lets you choose the video resolution and acpect ratio. After trying 3 other softwares to do the same job I tried this software and it worked like a champ.
Cons: You can convert only one file at a time.

Pros: Absolutely NONE
Cons: 1 minute conversion in trial, No support, they didn't even send my registration # and user name to activate full use. I had to use their stupid email system to tell them to issue a refund and 4 hours later, still have not gotten a response. BAD NEWS!
