Publisher's description of Mono
From Binary Zoo:Described as "part Asteroids, part Robotron, and part Paint Shop Pro," this vivid game puts a unique twist on traditional shooter action. The aim of the game is to change the color of the entire screen from black to white or white to black. This is achieved by shooting the alien blobs that color the background when destroyed. There are three colors of blobs to shoot (red, green, and blue) and the color they leave behind changes the behavior of any enemies that travel over it. The more of the screen you color, the more the enemies' behavior changes.
The latest version adds two new power-ups and better ship-rotation control.

- "Color us impressed"
The excellent shooter Duo features a two-directional gun with enemies and weapons based on mathematical functions. Binary Zoo's follow-up uses similar elements and a unique treatment of colors to create a one-of-a-kind gaming experience. Start with a black or white screen and then turn it into its opposite color by shooting colorful blobs that paint the screen as they explode.
Auto-fire is selected by default. You can turn it off and use the left mouse button to fire manually, but there's no reason to do so. The right mouse button allows you to rotate your ship. Since the mouse moves the ship as well, directing your shots takes some practice, but it quickly becomes second nature.
As the screen changes color, your enemies are affected. Red makes enemies return fire; green speeds them up; and blue makes them home in on your ship. All of this is rather extraneous, however, since you'll be too busy moving and firing to pay much attention to what the heck's going on. The easy and normal levels aren't much different, but playing on hard is psychedelically masochistic. Don't worry when the screen starts to pulse and throb. It's supposed to do that.

Version: Mono 1.02
Pros: Them ability for this game to play what ever music you want is a major plus. In fact it is my favorite feature about this companies games. DUO will allow the samething.
Cons: a lot HARDER than you might think but even if you lose before the 100% mark you can still try to beat you own high score so you are still a winner.

Version: Mono 1.02
Pros: Mono 1.02 is a simple but very effective shooter comprising of shooting multi coloured balls, and pumping dance music, and also a certain degree of frustration which keeps you going back for more. Not recommended for someone with photo-sensitive epilepsy, but a great way too pass those moments of boredom that come our way.
Cons: I couldn't find anything wrong with this, so i give it full marks.

"If I didn't know better, I'd think I was high"
Pros: When you first you start playing the game, the first thing you realize is the funky music along with a wave of happiness as you blast your way through a fantastic array of colors and swirls. Weapon upgrades are designed differently from each other which creates a different game strategy each time you collect a star, which is very often. The game will start off soft and sweet to completely whack. This Game Is Sweet.
Cons: This game is so colorful, vibrant, and just plain crazy that after awhile your cordination will just go blank and your eyes won't seem to properly focus. My computer experiences small crashes after I lose and sometimes when I quit, all that happens is the game turns itself off (not during gameplay) and gives off a missing or corrupted file error.
