Publisher's description of Jane's USAF demo
In USAF, you must climb the pyramid to be the top pilot of the most advanced air force in the world. Fly and train over U.S. soil in the F-16C Falcon, the A-10 Warthog, or any of six other planes. Then relive great historic air battles flying the rugged F-4E over Vietnam, or the powerful F-15C in Operation Desert Storm. Finally, push the envelope flying the menacing F-117 Stealth Fighter and ultramodern F-22 Raptor as you fly in futuristic campaigns over Europe. If that's not enough, take your skills to the net flying against other aces on JanesCombat.Net.
USAF features a 3D terrain engine with high resolution, and high frame rate terrain rendering on low-end system specifications. It also contains advanced special effects including night flight, shadows, multiple explosion types, and much more. All flyable aircraft have 3D virtual cockpits.

Cons: -Hard to play with keyboard only, might be only me cause I couldnt access the options menu.

Cons: You can't buy USAF anymore, unless online. Jane's Combat Simulations is now Jane's Information Group.

"Great,i have the full version as i was given the disc."
Pros: great graphics,sound,gameplay,quite addictive.
Cons: training can be difficult.also it is a large (1.2 GB) file when fully installed.

"Game play was pretty good but 3D textures didn't work too well."
Pros: It was fun shooting the tiger tank on the ground but...
Cons: ...the 3D textures did not load well. I suspect it is my computer, not the program: I could see through the buildings and the console of my plane. I probably would have enjoyed it more if was more compatible with my computer.
