Version: J. River Media Center 12.0.534
"Buggy, corrupts media files"
Pros: Looks nice, well featured, great for secure ripping.
Cons: Crashes frequently, and may occasionally corrupt media files. (Not often.)
Summary: Crashes at the worst possible time, such as during a rip or in the middle of a long tagging operation. I've seen it corrupt a few media files when this happened--and not just the tags. (This has only happened a few times though, and I was able to re-rip and then re-tag the affected files, so all was not lost.)
I've been quite a cheerleader for JRMC over the years, so I feel a bit guilty mentioning these issues. But the truth must prevail, I think.
