Publisher's description of IZArc 3.7
From IZSoftware:IZArc is the ultimate freeware archive utility supporting many archive formats. With a modern easy-to-use interface, IZArc provides support for most compressed and encoded files, as well as access to many powerful features and tools. It allows you to drag and drop files from and to Windows Explorer, create and extract archives directly in Windows Explorer, create multiple archives spanning disks, creating self-extracting archives, repair damaged zip archives, converting from one archive type to another, view and write comments. IZArc has also build-in multilanguage support.
Version 3.7 is a bug-fixing release.

- "IZArc is it"
IZArc modestly bills itself as the ultimate archiving utility--we're not so sure about that "ultimate" bit. Nevertheless, IZArc is definitely one of the best archiving utilities out there. Compatible with a huge number of archive formats, all the major are represented, as well as 7z (from 7-Zip), ISO, BH (Black Hole), and TAR, among others. It can create archives for many of the formats it can read, too, including 7z and TAR. It doesn't, however, create GZ archives.
IZArc supports archive encryption as well. AES 128-, 192-, and 256-bit encoding and PKZip 2.0 both are available. The app offers a reasonable range of context-menu options in Explorer, although not as many as some of its competitors. The user interface is more similar to WinZip's than some other alternative archivers, with big, obnoxiously colored icons making it clear to everybody and their dog just which buttons do what--not that that's a bad thing. Overall, IZArc is an excellent example of a third-party publisher supporting multiple formats and options under one roof--but it's not the only option out there.

Version: IZArc 3.7
"One of a kind! Deals with a lot of archive file types"
Pros: Supports all well-known and archive formats becoming more popular such as 7z format. Looks like the GUI of WinZip so people who knows it can easily adjust to this magnificent program... and it's free too!
Cons: Well not a true con but rather a suggestion, it can't create SFX archives and the zip repair may need some fix or recoding

Version: IZArc 3.7
"Nice compressor and extractor!"
Pros: I'm using this FREE software for almost a year now and found no problems with it. It opens most of the popular compressed file format like ZIP, RAR and CAB. When extracting files from a compressed zip it is easy as 1...2...3. When you right click the zip file, click IZarc and choose what you want to do with the zip. That's it!
It also boast a user-friendly interface!

"Works well but the zip repair didn't work for me"
Pros: It's free (thanks!!!!) and seems to extract well enough.
Cons: The zip archive repair didn't work for me, oh well.

Version: IZArc 3.7
Pros: -Excellent feature set has pretty much every additional feature yo could want.
-Wide range of compatible formats for decompression.
-Extremely fast in comparison to other archive programs.
Cons: -Requires two steps to create split archives creation then splitting.
-Could use more archiving format compatibility, as much as I like zips and self extracting executables, sometimes a rar just gets better compression.
