Publisher's description of Fate by Numbers
From revival entertainment:Note:Fate By Numbers is presented in DVD image format. It is intended to be burned to disc and installed from a DVD. If you have a compression program that can extract the .ISO file into a .ZIP, you can then run the SETUP.EXE file without requiring a DVD burner.
Fate by Numbers is a sci-fi noir adventure game that uses full-motion video. You assume the role of Alice Sanger, private eye. She is assigned to get a briefcase, but quickly finds herself immersed in a web of corruption and shadowy motives. What follows is a mysterious journey through the layers of a future metropolis influenced by the style of noir movies from the 1950s.

Version: Fate by Numbers
Pros: For those that want something more than Windows offers, it is great.
Cons: Because it duplicated services I already had I deleted the program.

Version: Fate by Numbers
Pros: The game itself is very interesting. The storyline seems intriguing, and the game play is easy to understand.
Cons: However, don't plan on delving too far into it unless you plan on finishing it in one sitting, because the Save option doesn't work! I'm running on Vista, and tried both running as an Admin AND in compatibility mode for XP, and neither one made it work. The Quit button also doesn't work. All it seems to do is stop the music from playing.
