If you're looking for a fast, reliable, and free way to convert many images at once, look no further than FastStone Photo Resizer. The program outputs files in the most popular formats, including TIFF, GIF, JPEG, and BMP. Besides its batch-conversion skills, the application also can rename pictures in bulk. This program lacks any sort of fancy image effects, but you can make basic tweaks, including cropping, rotating, resizing, and adjusting certain aspects of an image's color. You'll even find a tool for stamping shots with a watermark.
This utility demonstrated speedy performance in our tests, and we appreciate that its main window can be gussied up with several skins. And since it doesn't cost a dime, we have no problem recommending FastStone Photo Resizer to anyone who often works with large bundles of image files.

Pros: Fully functional, free and does what it promises to do. It's easy to use as well.
Cons: Nothing so far.
Summary: It works. You can't beat this for the price and for its capabilities. Also, it installs seamlessly and quickly for Vista. I'd pay money for this if the creator charged. It's that good.

Pros: This program is great if you need to resize EVERY photo on your computer. my retard girlfriend has had her camera set to the largest setting and has no memory left. so i was able to resize all her photos only with the multiple file ability..
Cons: none as of yet.

"First Time User - Worked GREAT!"
Pros: The software installed quickly on my VISTA system (less than 1 minute). The program is basic and fairly simple to use. I say "fairly" because it took me a few minutes to figure out exactly what I needed to do to resize my photos.
Cons: They should add a detailed Help menu.
Summary: I needed to resize 3 photos so I could merge them together for an E-Bay listing using my Canon software. Quick and easy to use. And, you can do more than just resize.

Summary: I had problems seeing jpeg images with moonshell, but this software helped me convert my images to the right size and format (non progressive).
