Publisher's description of D'Accord Guitar Chord Dictionary
From D'Accord Music Software:With Guitar Chord Dictionary you will learn everything about chords and scales. Browse, play, and print guitar chord positions. You can also import chords from lyrics that you find on websites. For each chord you can see the fingering and notation. The software also shows alternate positions for playing each chord. If you like to play any chord but don t know its name, the Chord Dictionary can tell you. Just insert the notes by clicking on the fretboard and the correct name will show up. The scales module offers thousands of different scales that you can play and practice in any tone. For each scale the software presents the correct fingering and notation. The Chord Dictionary is suitable to any 4, 5 and 6 stringed instrument. A comprehensive list of pre-configured instruments is included, but guitarists can create their own tunings/instruments.
Version 3 improves Windows Vista compatibility.

Version: D'Accord Guitar Chord Dictionary 3
Summary: Ever wonder what the name of that chord is? Enter the shape and get an identification. I've been looking for this for a long time but none of the others measured up for ease of use and accuracy. I finally know the names of those partial chords.

"Simple to use with multiple fingering options for many chords - great reference!"
Pros: It was simple to use and clear to understand. I especially liked the variety of fingerings for each chord rather than just one standard fingering. I hadn't played for some time and forgot some of the more unusual chords. This made re-learning easy and I can print the results for future reference. Great program.
Cons: The first time I opened the program it showed an acoustic guitar fretboard. I clicked on electric guitar just to see what would change and it has never gone back no matter what I try. It changes from right to left and every other option but it has completely lost the acoustic guitar fretboard.

"okay, but 10-use to try it out"
Pros: Nice software but product does not give enough time to make a decision. Good design and easy to navigate
Cons: 10-uses before trial expires. Come on. How about 30 days. I don't have hours to sit and evaluate all the features; therefore, I have to try it and come back later. Already used 2 of 10 allowed uses in 30 minutes. If you insist on 10 uses only then how about a 30 day unconditional money back guarantee in writing if I don't like the software.
