From Lavasoft:This download is for use with Ad-Aware SE Personal Build 1.05 and higher only (not applicable to Ad-Aware 2007). Manual Installation: Unzip the archive, replace the existing file in the program folder and restart Ad-Aware\Ad-Watch. You can also use the webupdate component implemented in Ad-Aware to install this update. The latest release adds new definitions.

Pros: Good program
Cons: Very difficult to upgrade with this patch.

Pros: Have used SE Personal for about 2 years & really liked it. Simple, not a major drain on resources & scans seemed quicker & more in-depth than Ad-Aware 2007.
Cons: Lavasoft have discontinued support of SE Personal as of 31/12/07. I tried 2007 on release & through the first 2 updates before removing it. It was slower on scanning, heavier on resources & left behind issues that were subsequently detected by SE.
Although update SE1R212 worked for me, it was awkward to apply & I'm not sure that further updates will be available & the process of applying them is cumbersome, to say the least.
See lavasoftsupport forum for more feedback on what I feel is a really bad move on the part of Lavasoft.
