Pros: The software may work if you pay, but the trial freeware version did not work at all
Cons: Did not work as advertised for the functions included in the trial ware.

"Worked as advertised, efficient"
Pros: Easy to install & use. Worked quickly, instructions seemed complete. Will use anytime need to clean a hard drive.

"What do you mean doesn't work!!!!"
Pros: The trial version is the trial version, but even that for home use should be suffice - if you use it properly, overwrites with 0's in trial version only and if you have burnt it to disk it works.
It wipes vista goodbye!!! what are you on about!!
But the actual professional version and you have many more options open, great user interface - excellent end result before selling your PC.
Dont underestimate the power of Killdisk, you probably are not using it properly - IT pro's and government agencies use it - google it you will see.
Great product, catch a virus and say goodbye hello new operating system!!!!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The free version only performs a single pass. A very expensive upgrade to Pro is required to unlock and perform useful erases. Do not waste time with this one. I am uninstalling the free version.
