Version: OpenOffice.org (Windows) 3.0
"It is good software, when it was free."
Pros: Works well with Office Apps. Free. Easy to use.
Cons: Now, instead of charging for the software, they force you to join a club. What a crock. I used to champion this software to people, how can I with this ridiculous gimick. I may go ahead and pay for MS Office 2007 now, at least its a one time fee.
Summary: I cant see paying 2.50 per month for the priviledge of using free software. What is up with that? read more

Version: OpenOffice.org (Windows) 3.0
Pros: Does everything you need from a Word Processing program for home use and it is Free
Cons: Did a few test documents, including one with a picture. Neither Word or Word perfect can import them so it limits what you can draft and send to others without the major WP programs.
Summary: It is OK if you just want to use it at home but not if you want to draft a document to sent via e-mail.
I could import documents from Word and Word Perfect. read more
