Windows and nearly all other software that is installed on it produce temporary data. Unfortunately there are not many programs that really take care about consequences of saving temporary files to different places, with different extensions or without always deleting when possible or necessary. 1-abc.net Hard Drive Washer does what all these programs forget. It searches for these unnecessary files and offers you to delete them.

Version 1.1 has Scheduler to let the program start automatically from time to time, new interface, multilingual program, drive selection to clean USB sticks, camera cards or external drives.

It quickly scanned our hard drive during testing and we were able to select different file extensions for a customized search. Though we couldn't add additional junk file types to those listed, 1-abc.net Hard Drive Washer skillfully sent the files found to the Recycle Bin. Even with its successful performance, we're disappointed to find the program lacks a permanent file shredder, free space cleaner, and defragmenter to regain additional lost space.

Missing online and Windows tracks removal features are two other huge marks against this software's small feature set. Although temporary files hog tremendous amounts of space on most PCs, you'll want more space-saving power than this 10-day trial can afford.

  I do not now as I have hade it and I would like to try it.

  Pros: I canot say yet as I have not tryed it.
